Clear Kayak and Christmas Cove

Yesterday morning we went to pick up our clear kayak that my mom bought. We had to hike up a mountain to get it then we had to bring the 80-pound kayak back the steep hill to get to our boat.

Then after that we moved our boat from Water Island to CYOA (which is where our boat use to be chartered from) then to Christmas Cove, on Little St. James Island.

We went to CYOA to ask some questions about are inverter and water maker. Then after we were done there, we headed directly to Christmas Cove. It was about an hour trip there, and we saw lots of turtles as we where pulling in to the cove.

We picked up a morning ball then put our new kayak in the water to see if it floated and it did!!! So, me and my mom took the kayak for a test run and it worked great.

When we got back from are test run we went to the Pizza Pi boat for dinner (which is a pizza place on a boat). Click on the link to learn more.

Then after that we played a game and went to sleep.

  1. Wow, what a hike to get the kayak. Glad you made it back to the boat, carrying 80 pounds is a lot of weight. Pizza sure looks good. Will we go there when we are down to visit? Looking forward to going to Sydney’s for lobster Thanksgiving dinner.

  2. Hey guys this is Free Bird we met you over in The Bight down near Pirates Bight and talked about the clear kayak and cruising. We bought a clear kayak after talking to you and love it. We are set to take off in one month for good. Hope to see you again soon.
